Spend the afternoon in. Step out of the cold into a quiet, communal winter sanctuary. We’re gathering to prepare food, enjoy board games, and share good company. We’ll also work together on a charity collection for those facing winter.

About the event
Winter invites us to draw inward, but it is best done in company. For our July gathering, we are reclaiming the time for an unhurried, cozy, and communal space where the world outside slows down.
We will spend the afternoon returning to the simple pleasures of life. Together, we’ll prepare a winter soup—chopping ingredients, inhaling the steam, and breaking bread as a collective. With no deadlines or rush, we will settle in to play slow board games, share stories, and watch time tick by over cups of tea.
True to our mission of cultivating supportive community economies, we believe that collective rest enables collective care. Even as we enjoy a well earned quiet afternoon, together we will also make a comfort for those struggling to endure this cold winter.
